We are seeking a self-motivated and driven Quality Manager to join our team.

As a successful candidate for the position, you will have experience effectively working in a label and/or die-cut converting environment as a key technical resource. You will be able to collect and evaluate Quality and Process Improvement data to drive process improvements with the Production Team, and work closely with them to create corrective action plans to address process failures. You will be an analytical individual who meets challenges with a sense of urgency and procedure. You will appreciate an autonomous working environment and pride yourself on your quality of work and doing things the right way. Finally, you will enjoy working with a diverse team of highly motivated people focused on the company’s success.
The Quality Manager position requires an assertive individual who will play a key role in defining the organization’s quality processes and procedures.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Interface with Customers Regarding Product Quality Issues/Concerns
  • Initiates and Leads Corrective Action Discussions
  • Assign and Track Internal/External CA’s to Achieve Desired Quality Performance
  • Submit Formal Corrective Actions Per Customer Portal Requirements
  • Internal Audit and Layered Audit Processes
  • Ensure Compliance to the Document Control Process
  • Assigns and Lead TS Process Revisions
  • Continually Work with Suppliers to Improve Performance, Implement Process Controls and Quality Plans
  • Perform Supplier Quality Systems Audits and Provide Support for Quality Systems Improvement
  • Support Supplier Qualification/Disqualification: Maintain Supplier Audit Results

Key Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • EMS/TS Champion
  • PPAP, APQP, and Quality Inspection Experience
  • Knowledge of SPC Methods and Application to a Manufacturing Process
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred
  • Knowledge of Quality Theory, Practices, Core Tools and their Application
  • Experienced Problem Solver
  • High Level Computer, Organizational, and Communication Skills
  • Ability to Multitask without Affecting Accuracy
  • Independent Decision Maker
  • Desire to Succeed in a Culture of Teamwork and Accountability
