ELECTRONICS
While typical polyester, vinyl, polypropylene and synthetic papers fit most applications. Mac Arthur Corporation has developed printed circuit board labels that can withstand process temperatures in excess of 250 C. These label products, printed with the appropriate thermal transfer printer and ribbon, can meet or exceed a wide variety of high temperature and solvent wash environments, without costly over laminates.
High heat and volatile chemicals used in the manufacture of many electronics products create a challenging environment for labels. From basic decals to variable information labels used to serialize and track productions pieces, each label has its own unique requirements. Mac Arthur can help design and produce specialized labels for electronics applications such as:
- Labels able to withstand the extreme heat of solder wave ovens
- Labels that survive high temperature vapor degreaser wash cycles
- Labels for variable information applications such as chemical resistant,
laser etch-able labels and preprinted, ready to apply labels
